In a small, green leatherbound book Kiera keeps a record of her travels after having left Semberholme. She writes all in elven with a green ink she makes herself.
Cormyr seems a land in turmoil, and it has become perfectly clear why the Great Archer sent me here. Dark times are upon this land, and possibly all of Toril, but much of it seems centered here. These humans coddle the Elf Eater, letting his worshipers flourish in safety and protected by law. There is little presence of our kind here but all that are have shown themselves to be true and faithful kindred. We may have many allies here to help stem the flow of darkness before it reaches Cormanthor in the west. Those at home already have enough to deal with, between the Zhentaril and plans to resettle the City of Song. I believe it is my task to aid here, to draw the line at Cormyr, the western most reaches of our ancient kingdom where once elves helped man to start the foundation of their own nation.
I have met many people here already, and have been lucky enough to received a visitor from home so soon. Ryvvik won't be in Cormyr long I believe but I am glad he is here now. He is set on a path that will take him to Evereska to fight with our kin against an unknown enemy. An enemy he believes may be connected to the darkness here. We have already met strong allies that may assist him in that, or at least help him get closer to the city in the west.
I've met a Keeper here named Leal, who is not so unlike the woodkin of Cormanthor, though not quite as reclusive. She was a welcome sight in such a foreign land. The humans look at us strangely so it was good to see a familiar face, even if I didn't know who she was at first. A half elf bard named Ravial who seems to have a fascinating story about a dragon, and one of the stout folk who speaks of stones like wooing a lover, who is called Scarne. It is, overall, a most interesting place my path has led me to.
